  My assistant on four paws
  Dear Sir or Madam,

Do you have pets? Dogs, for example, have conquered not only our apartments or houses, but also our hearts. But they can do much more than just be cute. In our Topic of the Month you will learn how assistance or service dogs change the lives of their humans, what the training of assistance dogs looks like – but also what hurdles still need to be overcome in Germany.

Have a nice week!

How we roll

Jesi Stracham is a wheelchair user and has no problem with it: Over the years, she has learned to accept herself as she is and to detach herself from societal expectations – she no longer wants to have any labels put on her. How she has achieved this mindset, why every day is a good day for her and how she otherwise rolls, she tells us on REHACARE.com.

Years before they are diagnosed, persons with multiple sclerosis (MS) make significantly more visits to doctors and hospitals than others. A research team at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has now published results of a study suggesting that, in many cases, the complaints may relate to unrecognized early clinical MS events.
