We look forward to REHACARE 2022!

  Dear Sir or Madam,

Are you as excited as we are in the editorial team that next week REHACARE 2022 will finally be live and on site again? We all had to wait long enough for it because of the pandemic. Excited are certainly also the exhibitors, who can now again present their new products in the exhibition halls. For example, the company Genny, whose wheelchair is getting an update that will be unveiled at REHACARE. We were able to talk to them already in our current We asked interview The self-balancing and two-wheeled wheelchair from Genny is getting an upgrade - unveiled at REHACARE 2022.

The show will also feature familiar faces like Raúl Krauthausen, Valentin Baus and Timo Boll. Raúl Krauthausen will give a talk on "It's all about the encounters" (in German only) in the PRODUCTS & NEWS @REHACARE forum at 1 p.m. on Friday. Valentin Baus and Timo Boll will give a table tennis show match on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Sports Center.

If you are still missing a REHACARE ticket now to discover all the great highlights, here is the ticket store!

See you next week!

Inspired by the self-balancing Segway, Genny Mobility developed a wheelchair equivalent. What started as a newbie on the mobility aids market, now is ready for its third generation. The new wheelchair will be revealed in two weeks at this year’s REHACARE. Francesca Belotti allows for a little glimpse into what we can expect.

A prosthetic arm has given Isabelle Sievers a lot of quality of life and self-confidence. In just three years, she has overcome many lows and continued her self development. Her strong will and perseverance have helped her to achieve even the seemingly impossible. In our interview, she emphasizes that everyone has their own strengths and can achieve anything.

Not everyone likes cars and for some they are an environmental sin. But for people with disabilities, they can be helpful and represent mobility, participation and new opportunities. After all, anyone with a mobility impairment doesn't always want to be dependent on others. In the Topic of the Month, we show examples of vehicle conversions that provide more freedom.
