Genny’s self-balancing and two wheeled wheelchair gets an upgrade – revealed at REHACARE 2022 |
Inspired by the self-balancing Segway, Genny Mobility developed a wheelchair equivalent. What started as a newbie on the mobility aids market, now is ready for its third generation. The new wheelchair will be revealed in two weeks at this year’s REHACARE. Francesca Belotti allows for a little glimpse into what we can expect.

Together with her friend Danie, who lost her arm in the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Jade Myers is working on developing prosthetic limbs for upper and lower limb amputees, among other projects. She was one of the top three winners of the nTopology-EOS 2022 Responsible Part Challenge, an international design competition. The inspiration for her new socket design came from running shoes.

Bioservo Technologies AB has signed a distribution agreement with Rehabilitations Systeme AG for the sale of Carbonhand® in Switzerland. Rehasys will actively work with clinics and other healthcare providers to introduce the strength-enhancing glove for people with limited hand function called Carbonhand 2.0, in Switzerland.
