In accordance with the local authority's current Covid-19 pandemic control restrictions, REHACARE CHINA, originally scheduled to be held from 1 - 3 September 2022 in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, will now be postponed to 29 - 31 August 2023.

REHACARE CHINA is dedicated to building a professional communication platform for people with disabilities and other rehabilitation needs in China. 30% of the expected visitors are people with disabilities or those who have chronic conditions and are considered high-risk groups for the Covid-19 virus. “We discussed the situation with our partners and clients, and we believe this is the right and responsible decision to take under the current circumstances,” said Marius Berlemann, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd..

The organizer apologizes for any inconvenience this postponement might cause. REHACARE CHINA will continue to remain in close contact with all partners, exhibitors, professional and private visitors alike, to discuss subjects regarding living with a disability, and to promote inclusion for people with disabilities in China.

REHAB COMMUNITY, a spin-off community of REHACARE CHINA, with the mission of “Driving Inclusion”, will continue to serve as a communication platform for people with disabilities, rehabilitation professionals, social organizations, and solution providers. Year-round online and offline events (REHAB TALK, INCLUSION CAMPAIGN, IRIC SMILE AWARD) will remain scheduled as usual. Meanwhile, REHAB COMMUNITY will continue to collaborate with inclusion ambassadors, experts, and the media to provide interviews and share insights, which will be published on REHACARE CHINA's official website, WeChat official account and LinkedIn page.
